Once anaesthesia is administered, the patient is positioned and six small cuts are made to place ports.
The surgeon controls the robot to remove the bladder and reconstruct a new urinary bladder.
The surgery takes 3–4 hours, is bloodless, and includes catheter and abdominal drain placement.
The patient stays 8 nights, receives IV nutrition, and drains are removed between day 3 and 5.
After discharge, the patient resumes routine, with CT scans and report discussion as follow-up.
